The Secluded Archive… Blythe House

Our lecturer Clair Ross has organised this fascinating tour to the Blythe House for us. The Blythe House is the V&A Archive of art and design. It provides rich resource of treasurable artefacts. We have been told that the access to the Blythe House is rare —though we can book to access in the future but it is unusual to have a tour from their staff.

I have looked at the textile reference book of Courtauld and Sundour.

A lot of trend books of different decades.

The Reading Room.

I found it very exclusive that I could actually see the original drawings of great designers’ print designs.
